Privacy Policy

This page explains how Island Electronics (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and processes personal data when you use our website. We are based in Cyprus and follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1) Who we are

Data controller: Tech Doodads Ltd.
Address: Christodoulou Chatzipavlou 199, Office 4A, 3036, Limassol, Cyprus
Email: privacy@islandelectronics.cy

2) What we collect and why

We collect only what is necessary to operate and improve this website:

  • Technical data (IP address*, device, browser, pages viewed, timestamps) — for security, stability, and basic analytics.
  • Consent choices — to remember your analytics cookie preference.
  • Form Information — When you use our Contact or Support forms, we collect the personal data you provide (Name, Email, Company, Product details, etc.) to respond to your inquiry or provide support. Use of these forms requires your explicit consent.

*In Google Analytics 4 (GA4), IP is used transiently for geolocation and is not stored; GA4 uses cookies only after consent.

5) Who we share data with

We share analytics events with Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics). We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6) International transfers

GA4 may process data outside the EEA. Google uses the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). We take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection for such transfers.

7) Data retention

GA4 retention for event data is defined by Google Ireland Limited. Emails and form submissions sent to us are kept as long as needed to handle your request and comply with legal obligations. Specific form data stored in our database is retained for up to 3 years for support and auditing purposes, or until you request deletion.

8) Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (Cyprus).

To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@islandelectronics.cy.

9) Children’s data

Our website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date below.
